This 30 day subscription to the ProModel for AutoCAD® Edition - Evaluation will give you a great idea of how easy it is to build a process simulation model while you create your factory layout.
Quickly build a spatially accurate layout and process simulation model simultaneously all within AutoCAD, using Factory Design Assets or blocks and the ProModel for AutoCAD Add-in. Simulate the scaled model directly in AutoCAD with the click of a button. View results in the Output Viewer and easily make, test and validate layout and process changes in AutoCAD. Finalize the model, then view it in 3D with Autodesk® Inventor® and ProModel 3D Animator.
Use this free version to get you on the right track to optimized factory design the first time. Models built in the free version can be easily opened and enhanced in the full ProModel for AutoCAD Edition as well as in the ProModel Optimization Suite; both of which allow even more complex model building logic and analytics.
In order to use ProModel for AutoCAD Edition, you must have access to the 2020 or newer versions of Autodesk® AutoCAD® Architecture, Autodesk® AutoCAD® MEP, or Autodesk® AutoCAD® Mechanical. Users can take advantage of AutoCAD blocks to represent stations or operations in the layout. The Factory Design Utility that is included with the Autodesk® Product Design and Manufacturing Collection provides even more productivity and accuracy – leveraging a library of over 2000 standard catalog facilities objects (assets) to speed layout tasks and allowing 3D representations of your layout to be created automatically. This allows even more spatially accurate layouts and clearer communication of design intent.
Create an AutoCAD layout using Factory Assets (or AutoCAD blocks) to represent the stations or operations required to make your product. Then build the process model using flows and other features from the ProModel Ribbon on the AutoCAD menu.
ProModel for AutoCAD Free Edition allows the user to build directly within AutoCAD:
