Else If

Starts a new IF block when the immediately preceding IF statement does not evaluate to true. This statement is always used in conjunction with a previous IF or ELSE If statement. Its functionality is the same as the IF statement.

Components

Element The first part of the boolean expression that is to be evaluated against the Value. This element may be a variable, attribute, or result of a function call.
Operator The operator used to compare the Element to the Value in order to check for true or false.
Value The value that is compared to the Element to determine if the statement is true or false.
(Operator) Optional and/or operator that allows you to add additional or alternate conditions for the IF statement.
