Defining Shape Properties

Each shape type in a Process Simulator model, except a plain graphic, has properties that determine how that shape functions during simulation.

Properties of shapes include such things as processing logic for activities, shifts assignments for resources, costing for entities, etc. Shape properties are defined by right-clicking on the shape in the layout, and choosing Properties from the right-click menu.

The properties dialog that appears is different depending on the type of shape selected: Entity, Activity, Buffer, Storage, or Resource.

Please note: While the properties dialog for an object is open, you may click on other objects in your layout to view properties for those objects without closing the properties dialog.
