The first step in using Process Simulator is to create a simulation model of your process in the Visio layout. This is accomplished by adding activities, entities, and resources to the Visio layout and then connecting them with arrival and routing connections.
You may either build a model from scratch or you may open an existing Visio flowchart of your process, and convert it to a Process Simulator model.
For the purposes of this tutorial, we will begin with a small Visio flowchart that has already been converted to a Process Simulator model.
We will then add objects to complete the model, and then define properties for the objects in the model.
